It's Great up North. With the Baltic, four universities and colleges offering fine art courses, the NewcastleGateshead Art Fair plus numerous galleries (both old and new) there is something special about the visual arts in the North of England. WorkArt was set up to provide a simple, straightforward way for commercial clients to gain access to the region's vibrant creative scene. Quality Matters. We offer artists a different way of gaining exposure and earning from their work, plus the chance to make sales. For our clients we aim to offer a wide range of well made, interesting work that is available to rent at a reasonable price. It is important we are satisfied about quality and that the work will be suitable in a public environment. For this reason we always see an artist's work in the flesh before publishing images on this website. We don't necessarily have to like your work (art is highly subjective after all) - but we do need to admire it. This means we can talk about it convincingly with our customers. Earn. We pay artists 40% of the rental fees generated; this is linked to the total value of the work displayed. We pay promptly at the end of each month. Getting in Touch. If you are interested in getting involved with WorkArt please get in touch. We would be most grateful, however, if you did NOT email images - they can take ages to download - or visit unexpectedly! Instead please send a CD or a link to a website, remembering to include dimensions and some information about yourself. We can then make an arrangement to meet. We look forward to hearing from you. |
